How Can a Bulging Finger Vein Be Treated?

Hi, about 5 hours ago, on my right hand, middle finger knuckle, I had a green colored vein bulging at the surface, it slightly hurt to the touch. I didn t really pay much attention until about an hour ago when I noticed the area was now a reddish/purple color (looks bruised). I did not hurt my hand or finger. My right arm, up to my shoulder, is now tingling/slightly numb. should I go to the er now or wait to see a doctor tomorrow?

Hello,

I passed carefully through your question and would explain that your symptoms do not seem to be related to any serious medical disorder.
I would like to know your age and past medical history.

Anyway, if you experience persistent numbness, bluish color or lack of pulse in this hand, I recommend going to the ER for a physical exam and a Doppler ultrasound of the arm vessels.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka,
